Gov. Mimiko Tells Ondo Workers: Accountant-General Will not pay a single month Salary Until Jegede’s Name is Replaced Back by INEC.

Gov. Mimiko Tells Ondo Workers

The aftermath of my meeting with the Presidency, reveals that most of the petitions written against me and Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) were from the covers of Ondo State Civil Servants, especially the ministry of Justice and Ondo State Judiciary helping the leadership of APC with documents & information at different law courts.

Initially, Rotimi Akeredolu, also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, used to be my very close confidant, whom I preferred next to Eyitayo Jegede, but due to the ugly roles played by APC cabals, we will never support Akeredolu again.

Until Ondo Workers are of the same opinion with me, in bringing a labour friendly political party into power and Eyitayo Jegede’s name is included/replaced by INEC, then we will not convey the meeting of the State Executive Council, to instruct the Ministry of Finance and the Office of the Accountant-General to commence the payments of the 7 months backlogs of Salary owing the state workers, while major markets, Student’s Shuttle Bus and Mother & Child Hospital will equally be closed down.
