Suspected Herdsmen Injured Father And Killed His Son-Delta State.

Suspected Herdsmen attacked a farm settlement on Tuesday night injured the father and killed his son.

This attacked happened in a farm settlement at Umueze near Oloa-Ossissa community, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State, killing a 15-year-old boy, Nnamdi Okonkwo, and inflicting bullet wounds on his father. Vanguard gathered that the deceased was with his father, Anarobi Okonkwo, at their camp along Abalam-Ossissa Road when the herdsmen invaded.

  The report from a relaible source in the Ossissa said the Herdsmen earlier “chased farmers with guns at Azu-Anuga farmland area of Umueze-Ossissa.” Confirming the incident, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Andrew Aniamaka, said a case of murder was reported, yesterday.
