One Of The Kidnapped Lagos Landlords Escapes

Kidnapped Lagos Landlords Escapes: One of the four landlords taken by kidnappers in Lekki Gardens Estate in the Isheri North area of Lagos on Saturday morning has escaped from his captors.

The victim arrived home on Tuesday but has refused to discuss what happened after he was captured with anyone. A source close to the victim when talking to reporters said “He escaped from their midst because no ransom was paid. He is scared and has kept to himself. The police have maintained visible presence in the community but it is not certain they know where the kidnappers are.”

Though another member of the community claims that money was paid for his release, saying he arrived at the estate in a boat. “A large amount of money was paid by his family for his release; he didn’t escape. He was released at about 5am”

The Lagos State Police command is yet to comment on this new development.
