The Kenyan Vampire, who had been in custody for more than seven years over murder cases that have since been thrown out, was discharged from Naivasha sub-county hospital.

Peter Matheri, Fongo’s uncle, said “he is a completely changed man.” Matheri also confessed to being anxious that “unknown people want to kill Fongo.”.

Joseph Mburu, on behalf of Naivasha subcounty hospital, confirmed Fongo’s release.
