Dogara Begs Dream Team IV – The Speaker of the House of Representatives, HonorableYakubu Dogara has begged the Dream Team IV not to boycott their quarter final match in the Rio 2016 Olympics.

The Dream Team IV head coach, Samson Siasia had revealed that team was fed up of broken promises over their unpaid allowances and wages, and were considering boycotting their quarter final match against Denmark on Saturday evening.

Dogara promised to do everything in his power to ensure that their salaries were paid, and pleaded with the team to be patriotic. He added that the entire country was behind them, and that they had a chance of emulating the Atlanta ’96 Dream Team, who returned home with a gold medal.

“We will do all we can to ensure that all entitlements due to the team are paid, as we are already talking to relevant government agencies”, Dogara declared.

“We will stop at nothing to ensure that we get the team to excel in Brazil and for Nigeria to recreate the watershed of Atlanta ’96,” he added.
