10 Dead After Suicide Attack In Baghdad – At least 10 people have been killed after a suicide bomber detonated himself at a security checkpoint in Baghdad.
8 civilians and 2 policemen were killed in the explosion, which occurred at one of the entrances of the Shiite district of Kadhimiyah. 20 others were said to be injured in the aftermath of the incident, which occurred on Sunday morning.
Medical officers at the scene confirmed the number of casualties. The attack is similar to those carried out by the Islamic State, who commonly use suicide bombers to attack security posts.
